Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council intends to make Orders to close temporarily to all traffic:
A) C284 (Part), Cholderton; from its junction with A338 to its junction with Edrics Green to enable Wessex Internet to carry out lay new duct build chamber and house drops, connect to existing network. Alternative route via C284 (unaffected length) – Cholderton Road – A338 and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 07 September 2026 and the closure will be required until 25 September 2026. For further information please contact Wessex Internet Limited. B) C24 (Part), Tisbury; from its junction with C301 for a distance of approximately 100m in a south easterly direction to enable Crusader Traffic to carry out wall works and associated works. Alternative route via C24 (unaffected length) – B3089 – C276 – C301 and vice versa. This Order will come into operation on 07 September 2026 and the closure will be required for 5 days. This Order will come into operation on 18 August 2026 and the closure will be required between the hours of 07:00 and 17:00 until 25 August 2026. This Order will come into operation on 17 August 2026 and the closure will be required between the hours of 09:00 and 16:00 until 28 August 2026. No alternative route is available. This Order will come into operation on 17 August 2026 and the closure will be required between the hours of 09:30 and 15:00 until 21 August 2026. S) C42 (Part), Wilsford Cum Lake; from its property known as The Fawns for a distance of approximately 30m in a north easterly direction to enable Openreach Limited to carry frame and cover repair. Alternative route via C42 (unaffected length) – C350 – A345 – C292 – C42 (unaffected length) and vice versa. This Order which previously came into operation on 25 June 2026 will now recommence on 17 August 2026 and the closure will be required for 3 days. Orders A) to R) will have a maximum duration of 18 months. Order S) has a maximum duration of 18 months. The closures and diversion routes will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. It is anticipated that the works will take the stated duration to complete depending upon weather conditions. Access will be maintained for residents and businesses where possible, although delays are likely due to the nature of the works.
