(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026

(BLACKWOOD HALL LANE, LUDDENDENFOOT)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council, because of works by Aureos have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Blackwood Hall Lane, from junction with Morley Hall Lane to No. 20 Blackwood Hall Lane for a distance of approximately 600 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and access for emergency vehicles is maintained. The alternative route is via Morley Hall Lane, Brocks, Sowerby Lane, Hand Carr Lane, Morley Hall Lane. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 17th August 2026 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 21st August 2026. The Order will be in operation daily during this period between the hours of 09:00 & 17:00.

(BROCKS, LUDDENDENFOOT)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council, because of works by Aureos have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Brocks, from junction with Morley Hall Lane to Sowerby Lane for a distance of approximately 600 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and access for emergency vehicles is maintained. The alternative route is via Sowerby Lane, Scout Road, New Road, Burnley Road, Station Road, Booth House Road, Jerry Fields Road. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 17th August 2026 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 21st August 2026. The Order will be in operation daily during this period between the hours of 09:00 & 17:00.

(DAISY BANK STREET, CORNHOLME)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council, because of works by Yorkshire Water have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Daisy Bank Street from No.2 to No. 6 for a distance of approximately 10 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and access for emergency vehicles is maintained. No alternative route available. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 17th August 2026 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 21st August 2026. The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during this period.

(EDWARD STREET/CHESTER STREET, SOWERBY BRIDGE)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council, because of works by Northern Gas Networks have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Edward Street from No.30 to side of 2 Cleveleys Avenue and Chester Street from No. 8 to Edward Street for a distance of approximately 35 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and access for emergency vehicles is maintained to closure point. The alternative route is via unaffected part of Edward Street, Tuel Lane, Clay Street, Clement Street and vice versa. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 17th August 2026 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 14th September 2026. The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during this period.

(JERRY FIELDS ROAD, LUDDENDENFOOT)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council, because of works by Aureos have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Jerry Fields Road from Brocks to Spring View Road for a distance of approximately 600 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and access for emergency vehicles is maintained. The alternative route is via Brocks, Sowerby Lane, Scout Road, New Road, Burnley Road, Station Road, Boy Mill Road. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 17th August 2026 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 21st August 2026. The Order will be in operation daily during this period between the hours of 09:00 & 17:00.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council, because of works by Yorkshire Water have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Saltonstall Lane from No. 2 to Field Head for a distance of approximately 20 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and access for emergency vehicles is maintained. No alternative route available. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 17th August 2026 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 19th August 2026. The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during this period.

(TRIMMINGHAM ROAD, HALIFAX)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council, because of works by Future Network Solutions have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Trimmingham Road from its junction with Spring Hall Lane to Somersby House for a distance of approximately 90 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and access for emergency vehicles is maintained. The alternative route is via Warley Road, Gibbet Street, Churn Lane. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 17th August 2026 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 19th August 2026. The Order will be in operation daily during this period between the hours of 08:00 & 17:00.

(CO-OPERATIVE BUILDINGS, BAILIFF BRIDGE) NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council, because of works by Sapphire Utility Solutions have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Co-Operative Buildings from its junction with Bradford Road to Victoria Road for a distance of approximately 56 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and access for emergency vehicles is maintained. The alternative route is via Victoria Road, Wakefield Road, Bradford Road. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 19th August 2026 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 19th August 2026. The Order will be in operation daily during this period between the hours of 06:00 & 18:00.

(ESKDALE AVENUE, SHELF)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council, because of works by OCU Group have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Eskdale Avenue from No. 21 to No. 37 for a distance of approximately 60 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and access for emergency vehicles is maintained. Access will be maintained for residents. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 20th August 2026 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 28th August 2026. The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during this period.

(BROADWAY, SOWERBY BRIDGE)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council, because of works by Sapphire Utility Solutions Ltd, intend to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Broadway from Rooley Heights to Newlands Avenue for a distance of approximately 170 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and access for emergency vehicles is maintained to closure point. The alternative route is via The Newlands, Dean Lane. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 31st August 2026 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 11th October 2026. The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during this period.

(FOOTPATH TODMORDEN 189, TODMORDEN)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by CVCLT Enterprise Ltd and Connect Housing Association Ltd intend to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall proceed in the length of Footpath Todmorden 189 from its junction with Windsor Road to Ferney Lee Road for a distance of approximately 148 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to persons carrying out works on or near the footpath. The alternative route is via Harehill Street, Burnley Road and vice versa. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 31st August 2026 and remain in force for a maximum 6 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 28th February 2027. The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during this period.

(BAIRSTOW LANE, SOWERBY BRIDGE)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council, because of works by Northern Gas Networks, intend to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Bairstow Lane from its junction with Willowfield Road to No. 8 Bairstow Lane for a distance of approximately 40 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and access for emergency vehicles is maintained to closure point. The alternative route is via unaffected part of Bairstow Lane, Dam Head Road, Steps Lane. Burnley Road and vice versa. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 1st September 2026 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 25th September 2026. The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during this period.

(ROPER GREEN, MIXENDEN)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council, because of works by Yorkshire Water, intend to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Roper Green from No. 4 to Crag Lane for a distance of approximately 10 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and access for emergency vehicles is maintained to closure point. The alternative route is via Crag Lane, Mixenden Road, Dodge Holme Road. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 1st September 2026 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 3rd September 2026. The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during this period.

(THORNHILLS LANE, CLIFTON)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council, because of works by Yorkshire Water, intend to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Thornhills Lane from No. 300 to No. 310 for a distance of approximately 20 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and access for emergency vehicles is maintained to closure point. The alternative route is via unaffected part of Thornhills Lane, Clifton Common, Highmoor Lane, Jay House Lane. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 1st September 2026 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 7th September 2026. The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during this period.
