(LUNN LANE AND BELL LANE, COLLINGHAM)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION) ORDER 2026 (N26-301)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Nottinghamshire County Council intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order, under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, in respect of roads at Collingham in the District of Newark and Sherwood.
The effects of the Order will be:
1. Vehicles are prohibited from proceeding in the following length of road at Collingham
a. Lunn Lane, Collingham - its entire length
b. Bell Lane, Collingham - its entire length
2. Vehicles are prohibited from Waiting, Loading and Unloading (both sides) (at all times) in the following length of road at Collingham:
a. Lunn Lane, Collingham - its entire length
b. Bell Lane, Collingham - its entire length
3. No Person shall proceed on foot or pedal cycle to which the public has access ("Footpath") in the following length of road
a. Footpath Lunn Lane to Belle Lane, Collingham - In between its junction with Lunn Lane and its junction with Bell Lane
4. All existing permanent restrictions will be temporarily suspended as required.
5. The restrictions specified above shall only be in effect when the signs are in place.
IT IS INTENDED that the prohibitions respecting the above road or roads will apply as follows:
From 00:00, Monday, 24 August 2026
Until 23:59, Tuesday, 15 September 2026 inclusive.
AND NOTICE IS HEREBY FURTHER GIVEN that during the period of restriction the alternative
route available will be: - A1133, The Green, Church Street and vice versa.
The Order will come into force on Monday, 24 August 2026 and any prohibition in it shall apply on that day and any subsequent day when necessary to enable works to be carried out.
The Order shall continue in force until the works are completed (within a maximum period of 6 months).
The prohibition is required to enable National Grid to carry out new electricity works for reinforcement scheme.
