TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1990

The Secretary of States gives notice of an Order made under Section 247 of the above Act entitled “The Stopping up of Highway (East Midlands) (No.16) Order 2026” authorising the stopping up of the whole of Lloyd Close at Wellingborough, in North Northamptonshire. This is to enable development as permitted by North Northamptonshire Council, under references NW/25/00148/FUL and NW/25/00429/FUL.

Copies of the Order may be obtained, free of charge, from the Secretary of State, Transport Infrastructure Planning Casework Unit, PO Box 1393, Newcastle Upon Tyne, NE99 5FQ or nationalcasework@dft.gov.uk (quoting SUO4275913). They may also be inspected during normal opening hours at Wellingborough Library, 7 Pebble Lane, Wellingborough, Northamptonshire, NN8 1AS.

Any person who wishes to challenge the validity of the decision to make the Order may apply to the High Court within 6 weeks from 13 August 2026.
