TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE U5132 RADCLIFFE DRIVE, U5150 THE CHESTNUTS,

U5151 DISBURY CLOSE, U5705 WILMSLOW DRIVE AND U5131 ECCLES ROAD, IPSWICH

Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the following roads:

• U5132 Radcliffe Drive, Ipswich from Radcliffe Drive to Eccles Road

• U5150 The Chestnuts, Ipswich from Radcliffe Drive to no. 1 The Chestnuts

• U5151 Disbury Close, Ipswich from no. 26 to Radcliffe Drive

• U5705 Wilmslow Drive, Ipswich from no. 2 to Radcliffe Drive

• U5131 Eccles Road, Ipswich from no. 73 to Radcliffe Drive

This is to facilitate footway slurry works. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be Radcliffe Drive, Bridgwater Road and vice versa.

It is intended that the closure will operate from 14/08/2026 - 18/08/2026 from 8am - 5pm. If necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the following roads:

• U6106 Church Road, Brandon from the junction with the A1065 for 300 metres westbound

• C621 Rattlers Road, Brandon from the junction with the A1065 for 20 metres south eastbound.

This is to facilitate laying a gas main. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion routes will be:

• for Church Road - Church Road, Manor Road, Crown Street, the A1065 and vice versa

• for Rattlers Road ñ Rattlers Road, the B1106, the A1065 and vice versa.

It is intended that the closures will operate from:

• Church Road - 24/08/2026 - 28/09/2026

• Rattlers Road - 24/08/2026 - 14/09/2026.

If necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE, SUSPENSION OF ONE-WAY TRAFFIC AND PROHIBITION OF WAITING ON PART OF THE U5617 AUSTIN STREET, IPSWICH

Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the U5617 Austin Street, Ipswich from Stoke Street to Vaughan Street to facilitate carriageway resurfacing. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be Stoke Street, Rectory Road, Station Street, Wherstead Road and vice versa.

For the duration of this closure there will be a suspension of the one-way provision on the U5617 Austin Street to allow access and egress.

For the duration of this closure there will also be a prohibition of waiting on the U5617 Austin Street from Stoke Street to Vaughan Street. There will be no exceptions.

As this road closure is required to permit essential works to the highway, any vehicles that remain in the area affected during the period of the restriction may be removed in accordance with powers available to do so.

1. • C657 Needham Street, Gazeley from the junction with Mill Road for 50 metres north eastbound

• C655 Mill Road, Gazeley

• C655 The Street, Gazeley from the junction with Higham Road for 100 metres northbound

2. • C655 The Street, Gazeley from the junction with Higham Road for 150 metres southbound

• C655 Dalham Road, Gazeley from 150 metres south of the junction with Higham Road for 150 metres southbound.

This is to facilitate civil works. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion routes will be:

For Needham Street - Needham Street, the B1506, Gazeley Road and vice versa

It is intended that the closures will operate from:
