The Council has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the effect of which will be that for a temporary period, to facilitate the installation of footway build-outs, no person shall drive or cause or permit any vehicle to be driven on any part of Spottiswoode St from the extended north kerbline of Thirlestane Rd, northwards for 13.5m. The alternative routes for through vehicular traffic in relation to the road closure of Spottiswoode St – (1) Spottiswoode St, Spottiswoode Rd, Marchmont Rd and Thirlestane Rd; and (2) Spottiswoode St, Spottiswoode Rd, Lauderdale St, Warrender Pk Rd, Whitehouse Ln and Thirlestane Rd. The Order shall have effect from 17/08/26 to 09/09/26.
