(THTTC4256 LOWER ROAD, HINTON BLEWETT)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF USE BY VEHICLES) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS GIVEN that Bath and North East Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 has made an order the effect of which will be to temporarily introduce a road closure in that length of Lower Road, Hinton Blewett from a point outside 18 Lower Road extending north east to a point outside The Old Rectory. USRN: 47917404.

This order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road to enable Wessex Water to replace 3 x damaged manhole covers in the carriageway from the 17th August 2026 for a maximum period of 6 months. 

The road will only be restricted as and when traffic signs are in position and may not be affected for the whole of the period but only for so long as is necessary to execute the works. Works are anticipated to be for TWO DAYS between 08:00 - 16:00hrs.

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF USE BY VEHICLES) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS GIVEN that Bath and North East Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 has made an order the effect of which will be to temporarily introduce a road closure in that length of Ham Lane, Paulton from a point outside 25 Alexandra Terrace extending for 10 metres in both directions. This order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road to enable Bristol Water to replace a damaged S81 frame/cover from the 20th August 2026 for a maximum period of 6 months. 

The road will only be restricted as and when traffic signs are in position and may not be affected for the whole of the period but only for so long as is necessary to execute the works. Works are anticipated to be for TWO DAYS.

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF USE BY VEHICLES) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS GIVEN that Bath and North East Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 has made an order the effect of which will be to temporarily introduce a road closure in that length of:

• Rankers Lane, Compton Dando from a point outside the property known as Court Hill House extending north and onto Court Hill to a point outside the property known as Westview. USRN: 47930056/47919008.

• Cockers Hill, Compton Dando from its junction with Rankers Lane/Court Hill extending west for approximately 20 metres. USRN: 47961323.

This order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road to enable Contractors to replace a damaged telecom chamber in the carriageway from the 15th August 2026 for a maximum period of 6 months. 

The road will only be restricted as and when traffic signs are in position and may not be affected for the whole of the period but only for so long as is necessary to execute the works. Works are anticipated to be for ONE DAY between 08:00 - 16:00hrs.

NOTICE IS GIVEN that Bath and North East Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 intends to make an order the effect of which will be to temporarily introduce a road closure in that length of Kelston Road, Keynsham from its junction with Queens Road extending north and east to a point outside the garages at the side of 94 Kelston Road. This order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road to enable Contractors to carry out Section 50 drainage works and associated building works from the 1st September 2026 for a maximum period of 18 months. 

The road will only be restricted as and when traffic signs are in position and may not be affected for the whole of the period but only for so long as is necessary to execute the works. Works are anticipated to be for SIXTEEN WEEKS.

This order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road to enable Wales & West Utilities to lay a new service to customer from the 1st September 2026 for a maximum period of 6 months. 

The road will only be restricted as and when traffic signs are in position and may not be affected for the whole of the period but only for so long as is necessary to execute the works. Works are anticipated to be for FOUR DAYS.
