NOTICE is hereby given that City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council made the above Order on 11 August 2026 under their powers contained in the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the general effect of which is to introduce the following: -
i. ‘Prohibition of Driving (7.5 Tonnes Weight Access Restriction)’

The Order comes into force on 5 October 2026. A copy of the Order together with documents giving more detailed particulars may be examined during normal office hours at the Customer Services Reception, Ground Floor, City Hall, Bradford, BD1 1HY and Keighley Town Hall, Bow Street, Keighley, BD21 3PA; or examined on the Council’s website at https://www.bradford.gov.uk/transport-and-travel/highways/traffic-regulation-order; or obtained from Chris Hird, Traffic Engineer, Place by email Chris.Hird@bradford.gov.uk quoting reference number 105791/CON-1A.
If you wish to question the validity of the Order, or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or on the grounds that any requirements of that Act or of any Instrument made under it, have not been complied with in relation to the Order, you may, within six weeks from the date upon which the Order was made (i.e. 11 August 2026) apply to the High Court for this purpose.
