ORDER 2026
The Royal Borough of Windsor & Maidenhead intends, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice,to make an Order, the effect of which will be to:
Prohibit any bicycle to proceed in the cycle lane along this part of King Street, Maidenhead from its junction with Queen Street to its junction with Broadway.
The purpose of the proposed Order is because of the likelihood of danger to the public caused by new power connection works for development.
The proposed Order will come into operation from 00:01 hours on Tuesday 1 September and will be in place until 23:59 hours on Friday 18 September 2026.
There will be a temporary suspension of cycle lane at such times when signs as prescribed by the Traffic Sign Regulations and General Directions 2016 are in place to indicate the said restrictions.
