What is happening?
Warwickshire County Council has made the following Temporary Traffic Orders:
PUBLIC FOOTPATH F1373 WATTON’S LANE, SOUTHAM
Order Effect: Footpath closed to all traffic from Watton’s Lane to Watton’s Lane South.
Reason for Order: Footpath reconstruction and associated works.
Order Commences: 10 August 2026 for up to 6 months.
Anticipated Completion: 14 August 2026.
Access & Diversion: Watton’s Lane, Park Lane, Market Hill, Warwick Street, Watton’s Lane South and vice versa.
Contractor: Balfour Beatty, Tel: 01926 245650.
Warwickshire County Council proposes to make the following Temporary Traffic Orders:
GIBRALTAR LANE, LEAMINGTON HASTINGS & CALIAS LANE, BIRDINGBURY
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic.
Reason for Order: To enable works for repair to damaged bridge wall.
Order Commences: 24 August 2026 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 25 September 2026.
Access & Diversion: Gibraltar Lane, Station Road, Napton Road, High Street, Rugby Road, Southam Road, Hospital Lane and vice versa.
Contractor: CPC Civils Ltd, Tel: 0777 262 4697.
For all of the above temporary orders, pedestrian access to and egress from properties and land situated adjacent to the length of road to be closed will be maintained at all times. Vehicular access will be maintained where possible.
