Edinburgh: Relugas Road & South Lauder Road - Temporary Road Restriction and Traffic Regulation

(Relugas Road & South Lauder Road) (Temporary Road Restriction and Traffic Regulation)  order 2026 - Temp/26/131

The Council has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the effect of which will be that for a temporary period, to facilitate Scottish Power cable installation works, no person shall: (a) drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle on any part of: Phase 1 relugas rd, from the extended west kerbline of Mayfield Rd westwards to the extended east kerbline of Sth Lauder Rd; Phase 2 sth lauder rd, from the extended north kerbline of Relugas Rd, northwards to the extended north kerbline of St Alban’s Rd; Phase 3 sth lauder rd, from the extended north kerbline of St Alban’s Rd, northwards to the extended north kerbline of Fountainhall Rd; & Phase 4 sth lauder rd, from the extended north kerbline of Fountainhall Rd, northwards to the extended south kerbline of Grange Ln; & (b) except with the permission of a Parking Attendant, cause or permit any vehicle to wait or load onto or unload from any vehicle at any time on any part of: (i) relugas rd, from the extended west kerbline of Mayfield Rd westwards to the extended east kerbline of Sth Lauder Rd; & (ii) sth lauder rd, from the extended north kerbline of Relugas Rd northwards to the extended south kerbline of Grange Ln. The road closures for Phases 1 to 4 shall not be enacted at the same time. Existing parking restrictions will be suspended on the affected sections of roads described in (b). The Order shall have effect from 18/08/26 to 12/10/26.The alternative routes for through vehicular traffic in relation to the road closures are: Phase 1 will be by way of relugas rd - Relugas Rd, Sth Lauder Rd, St Alban’s Rd & Mayfield Rd; Phase 2 will be by way of sth lauder rd - Relugas Rd, Findhorn Pl & St Alban’s Rd; Phase 3 will be by way of sth lauder rd - St Alban’s Rd, Findhorn Pl & Fountainhall Rd & Phase 4 will be by way of sth lauder road - Fountainhall Rd, Findhorn Pl & Grange Ln.
