What is happening?
Warwickshire County Council proposes to make the following Temporary Traffic Orders:
CHESSETTS WOOD ROAD, LAPWORTH
Order Effect: Road Closed to vehicular traffic from Chapel Lane to Packwood Road.
Reason for Order: To enable works on water hydrant chamber.
Order Commences: 24 August 2026 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 26 August 2026.
Access & Diversion: Chessetts Wood Road, Packwood Road, Vicarage Road, Packwood Lane, Rising Lane and vice versa.
Contractor: Chevron Tm Ltd, Tel: 0330 008 0820.
LAPWORTH STREET, LAPWORTH
Order Effect: Road Closed to vehicular traffic.
Reason for Order: To enable telecoms work.
Order Commences: 25 August 2026 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 25 August 2026.
Access & Diversion: Lapworth Street, Old Warwick Road, Stratford Road, Bushwood lane and vice versa.
Contractor: Sunbelt Rentals Ltd, Tel: 03700 500 792.
For all of the above temporary orders, pedestrian access to and egress from properties and land situated adjacent to the length of road to be closed will be maintained at all times. Vehicular access will be maintained where possible.
