(Carr Hill Grove, Calverley, Leeds) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because the installation of new connection works is being or are being proposed to be executed on or near the under mentioned highways; Leeds City Council has today made an Order the effect of which is that: No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to travel along Carr Hill Grove, Calverley, Leeds in the Calverley & Farsley Ward between its Jcts with Carr Hill Rise to the Jct of Carr Hill Dr. A diversionary route for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via: Carr Hill Rise, Carr Hill Dr. Essential access to premises and for emergency vehicles will be maintained. The Order shall come into operation on Friday 21st August 2026 and will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works are completed if earlier. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because road closure and speed limit reduction to facilitate works as part of the A660 corridor being proposed to be executed on or near the under mentioned highway(s), Leeds City Council has today made an Order the effect of which will be that: No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to travel along Rampart Road, Woodhouse, Leeds in the Headingley & Hyde Park Ward the left turn from its junction with Woodhouse Lane. A diversionary route for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via: Rampart Road, Woodhouse Lane, Blenheim Walk, St Marks Road, Cathcart Street. Essential access to and from premises and for emergency vehicles will be maintained. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because road closure and speed limit reduction to facilitate cycle lane work proposed to be executed on or near the under mentioned highway(s), Leeds City Council has made an Order the effect of which will be that: No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to travel along Harrison Street, Leeds in the Little London Woodhouse, outside the Leeds Grand Theatre. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because a temporary road closure to facilitate a new connection is proposed to be executed on or near the under mentioned highway Leeds City Council intends (in not less than 7 days) to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to travel along Bachelor Ln, Horsforth, Leeds in the Horsforth Ward between its junctions with Lister Hill and Long Row. A diversionary route for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via Long Row, North Broadgate Lan, Church Av, Lister Hill and vice versa. Essential access to and from premises and for emergency vehicles will be maintained. The Order is intended to come into operation on Tuesday 25th August 2026 and will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works are completed if earlier. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because the Temporary Road closure of the segregated bus road is being proposed to be executed on or near the under mentioned highway(s); Leeds City Council intends (in not less than 7 days) to make an Order the effect of which will be that: No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to travel along Meadow Rd, Holbeck, Leeds between its jcts with Sweet St & Victoria Rd. Diversionary route via: Meadow Rd. Essential access to & from premises and for emergency vehicles will be maintained. The Order is intended to come into operation on 24 Aug 2026 and will remain in force for the below dates, or a maximum period of 18 months or until the works are completed if earlier. 24 Aug 2026 00.00-05.00. 8 Sept 00.00-05.00. 22 Sept 00.00-05.00. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because gas mains replacement works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the under mentioned highway(s) for Leeds City Council intends in not less than 7 days to make an Order the effect of which will be that: No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to travel along: Woodside Vw, Burley in the Kirkstall Ward between its junctions with Burley Rd and Bankfield Gr; and Bankfield Gr, Burley in the Kirkstall Ward at its junction with Woodside Vw. A diversionary route for vehicles affected by the closures will be available via: Burley Rd, Kirkstall Hill, Burley Wood Ln, Bankfield Gr and vice versa. Essential access to and from premises and for emergency vehicles will be maintained. (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic & Parking) (Special Events) Order 2026 Leeds United Fixtures 2026/27 – Lowfields Road

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because of the likelihood of danger arising to the public (in relation to the holding of football games at Elland Road), Leeds City Council, as traffic authority for the Leeds Metropolitan District, intends (in not less than 7 days) to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, prohibiting the use of the road below by vehicles and the suspension of existing disabled bays. The effect of the Order is that: 1. No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed along Lowfields Rd from its junction with Elland Rd up to the overpass with M621, on any day upon which a football match is to take place at Elland Rd Stadium, Leeds (provided that such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with a particular match). Where necessary local diversions will be in operation, signed as appropriate. In relation to the rd closure, the Order will come into effect an hour before the scheduled kick-off of each match and for one hour after the final whistle of each match (approx). 2. No vehicles will be permitted to use the existing 17 disabled spaces and motorbike hoops located on Lowfields Rd situated N of Stadium Way. Alternative pre-booked disabled parking is to be provided within the park and ride site off Bobby Collins Way. In relation to the parking suspension the order shall come into effect at 00:01 on the date of each match listed. Match day fixtures are scheduled to take place on the following dates: 30 Aug 2026, 14 & 19 Sept 2026, 17 Oct 2026, 7 & 28 Nov 2026, 5 & 19 Dec 2026, 2,6 & 23 Jan 2027, 6 & 20 Feb 2027, 3 & 13 Mar 2027, 10 & 24 April 2027, 8 & 23 May 2027. Access for emergency services and pedestrians will be maintained to all premises situated on or adjacent to any road or part of road to be closed or to which restrictions apply including other premises accessible for pedestrians from and only from such a road. The Order is intended to come into operation at 00.01 hours on 30 Aug 2026.

(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) (Special Events) Order 2026 Leeds United Fixture 30 August 2026 – Meadow Lane

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because of the likelihood of danger arising to the public (in relation to the holding of football games at Elland Road), Leeds City Council, as traffic authority for the Leeds Metropolitan District, intends (in not less than 7 days) to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the Order will be: 1. A suspension of the cycle lane on the E side of Meadow La from Dock St to Great Wilson St. 2. No vehicles will be permitted to use the ‘unnamed’ access road situated on the E side of Meadow La 150m N of Great Wilson St (provided that such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the event). Where necessary local diversions will be in operation, signed as appropriate. Access for emergency services and pedestrians will be maintained to all premises situated on or adjacent to any road or part of road to be closed or to which restrictions apply including other premises accessible for pedestrians from and only from such a road. The Order is intended be in operation between 11:00hrs and 14:00hrs on 30 Aug 2026.

(Definitive Footpath Morley No.57) (Temporary Prohibition of Use) Order 2026 Extension Notice

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that due to safety concerns regarding the levels on the line of the under mentioned footpath or near the under mentioned footpath; the above-named Order that was made by Leeds City Council on 12 February 2026 and which was due to expire on 28 August 2026, is to remain in force (with the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport) until 28 February 2027; or until the completion of the works if earlier. The effect of the Order, as extended, is that: No person shall proceed on foot along Definitive Footpath Morley No.57, in the Morley South Ward, from the back of footway adjacent to No. 61 Albert Rd, in a north-easterly direction for a distance of approximately 70 metres to Bilberry Bank (also being part of Definitive Footpath Morley No.57) Diversionary route available via Albert Rd, Station Rd and vice versa. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Leeds City Council, acting as the Local Traffic Authority (in exercise of its powers under Sections 1, 2, 3, 4, 5,124 and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the Traffic Management Act 2004 and all other enabling powers) has today made the above Amendment Order. The effect of the Order which come into force on 13 August 2026 is to introduce. 1. No Waiting at any Time on: a. Kellett La/Ryedale Holt, (south side); from a point 8m NW of its junction with Ryedale Ave, in a SE direction for a 20m. b. Kellett La/Ryedale Holt, (north side); from a point 2.5m MW of its junction with Ryedale Ave, in a SE direction for 24m. c. Ryedale Ave; from a point 6.5m south of its junction with Kellett Lane/Ryedale Holt; in a southerly direction for 12m. 2. A Prohibition of All Motor Vehicles on: Ryedale Ave from its junction with Kellett La/Rydedale Holt; in a southerly direction for 6.5m in a southerly direction. A copy of this Amendment Order may be obtained by emailing tro-team@leeds.gov.uk. If you wish to object to question the validity of this Amendment Order or any provision contained within it on the ground that it is not within the powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or on the grounds that any requirement of the Act or any instrument made under the Act has not be complied with in relation to the Order, you may within 6 weeks from the date upon which the Order was made, apply to the High Court for this purpose.
