What is happening?

Warwickshire County Council has made the following Temporary Traffic Orders:

LOWER ROAD, BARNACLE
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic.
Reason for Order: Telegraph pole renewal works.
Order Commences: 12 August 2026 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 12 August 2026.
Access & Diversion: Lower Road, Top Road, Mile Tree Lane, Parrotts Grove, Lentons Lane, Shilton Lane and vice versa.

Warwickshire County Council proposes to make the following Temporary Traffic Orders:

COVENTRY ROAD, FILLONGLEY
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic.
Reason for Order: To enable installation of pipe sleeve.
Order Commences: 24 August 2026 for up to 18 days.
Anticipated Completion: 14 September 2026.
Access & Diversion: Coventry Road, Meriden Road, Ousterne Lane, Fillongley Road, Main Road, Old Road, Birmingham Road, Showell Lane, Henwood Road, Dunchurch Highway, Pickford Way, Holyhead Road, Coundon Wedge Drive, Sayer Drive, Wall Hill Road, Long Lane, Tamworth Road, Tamworth Road Service Road, Hollyfast Lane, Rock lane and vice versa.

CHURCH LANE, FILLONGLEY
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic.
Reason for Order: Works to install new water connection from water main in verge.
Order Commences: 26 August 2026 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 28 August 2026.
Access & Diversion: Church Lane, Coventry Road, Nuneaton Road and vice versa.

GROVE ROAD, ANSTY
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic.
Reason for Order: Pole replacement works.
Order Commences: 24 August 2026 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 24 August 2026.
Access & Diversion: No diversion available.

FERNDALE ROAD, BINLEY WOODS
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic.
Reason for Order: Pipe renewal works.
Order Commences: 24 August 2026 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 28 August 2026.
Access & Diversion: Ferndale Road, Craven Avenue, Woodlands Road, Heather Road and vice versa.
Contractor: Chevron TM Ltd, Tel: 0330 008 0820.

For all of the above temporary orders, pedestrian access to and egress from properties and land situated adjacent to the length of road to be closed will be maintained at all times. Vehicular access will be maintained where possible.
