THE BOROUGH OF BLACKPOOL (VARIOUS ROADS) (CONSOLIDATION
OF WAITING RESTRICTIONS, ON STREET PARKING PLACES, RESIDENTS’
PARKING PLACES AND TAXI STANDS) (AMENDMENT NO 6) ORDER
2024 (“AMENDMENT NO 6 ORDER”) – AMENDED AND RE ADVERTISED

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on the 6 August 2026 Blackpool Borough Council made an Order under Sections 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 32,46, 46A, 47, 49 , 53 and 124 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 of the Act of 1984 and under the Traffic Management Act 2004 and the Road Traffic (Permitted Parking Area and Special Parking Area) (Borough of Blackpool) Order 2003 (Statutory Instrument No 2677) and of all other enabling powers, the effect of which will be to introduce the following restrictions as specified below:-

RESTRICTIONS TO BE INTRODUCED As Amended and Readvertised

1. Red Route, No stopping at any time (double red lines) on sections of Common Edge Road, School Road (amended distance) and Vickers Way
2. Red Route, No stopping at any time (double red lines) on the full length of Hallet Avenue
   3. No waiting at anytime on the full length of Jepson Way
   4. No waiting at anytime of part length of School Road and Vickers Way
3. RESTRICTIONS TO BE REVOKED

1. No waiting at any time on sections of Common Edge Road The Order will come into force on 1st September 2026.

Any person desiring to question the validity of the Order or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the relevant powers of the Act of 1984 or that any relevant requirements thereof or any relevant regulations made thereunder have not been complied with in relation to the Order may, within six weeks from the date on which the Order was made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.
