NOTICE IS GIVEN that Bath and North East Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 intends to make an order the effect of which will be to temporarily introduce a road closure in that length of Hatfield Road, Bloomfield, Bath from its junction with A367 Wellsway extending west to its junction with Bloomfield Road. USRN: 47900046.
This order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road to enable Virgin Media to carry out civils works from the 1st September 2026 for a maximum period of 6 months.
The road will only be restricted as and when traffic signs are in position and may not be affected for the whole of the period but only for so long as is necessary to execute the works. Works are anticipated to be for THREE DAYS.

NOTICE IS GIVEN that Bath and North East Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 has made an order the effect of which will be to temporarily introduce a road closure in that length of Northend, Batheaston, Bath from a point outside 34 Northend extending north to a point outside 40 Northend. This order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road to enable Wessex Water to carry out trial hole exploration and associated works from the 17th August 2026 for a maximum period of 6 months.

NOTICE IS GIVEN that Bath and North East Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 intends to make an order the effect of which will be to temporarily introduce:
• a road closure in that length of Ashley Road, Bathford, Bath from a point outside 66 Ashley Road extending east for approximately 42 metres. USRN: 47904449.
• a footpath closure in that length of Footpath The Garstons, Bathford, Bath from its junction with Ashley Road extending south to its junction with Garstons. USRN: 47905298.
This order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road/ footpath to enable National Grid to carry out low voltage cable excavation and installation works from the 1st September 2026 for a maximum period of 6 months.

• a road closure and suspension of parking to vehicles in that length of A4 Upper Bristol Road, Lower Weston, Bath from its junction with Park Lane extending east for approximately 175 metres. USRN: 47900002.
• a road closure and suspension of parking to vehicles in that length of Midland Road, Westmoreland, Bath from its junction with A4 Upper Bristol Road extending south for approximately 80 metres. USRN: 47913514.
• a suspension of the one-way restriction on Midland Road, Westmoreland, Bath from a point outside the Police/Kia Garage rear car park extending north to its junction with Stothert Avenue.
This order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road for highway resurfacing and associated works in relation to Midland Road junction improvement scheme by Bath and North East Somerset Council from the 20th August 2026 for a maximum period of 18 months.
The road will only be restricted as and when traffic signs are in position and may not be affected for the whole of the period but only for so long as is necessary to execute the works. Works are anticipated to be for THREE NIGHTS between 20:00 - 06:00hrs only.
