(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2026

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Bude.
This prohibition is necessary for ducting works and it is expected that the closure will be from 14th September 2026 to 16th September 2026. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0800 and 1800, weekdays only. Road affected - Road From County Road To Marine Drive, Upton, Bude between grid references SS 20110 04797 and SS 20372 04843.
An alternative route will be signed on site. (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2026

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Launceston.
This prohibition is necessary for gully defects and it is expected that the closure will be from 14th September 2026 to 16th September 2026. The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekdays only. Road affected - Road From Tor Wood To Junction South East Of Tregena, Tresmeer, Launceston between property known as Churchtown Farm and the junction Access to Lanzion.

Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (RTRA 1984) Temporary Speed Restriction Order 2026

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 17th August 2026 in exercise of its powers under section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to impose a temporary speed restriction of 30 MPH over an area of highway being A388 Between Little Comfort And Junction North West Of Monks Hill between properties known as Tredown Cottages and grid reference SX 34947 79229 for approximately 1108 metres.
The Order will come into operation on 1st September 2026 and the works are expected to be completed by the 26th October 2026. The restriction will be in force 24 hours a day, weekends included. Notice is further given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to prohibit the use by traffic over an area of highway being Road From Roundhill Cottages To The Lodge, Lezant, Launceston between the junction with the A388 and grid reference SX 35070 80283. The restriction will be in force from 1st September 2026 to 7th September 2026, 24 hours a day, weekends included. The Council is satisfied that the Order is needed because carriageway widening, kerbing and drainage works are being executed on or near the road.
