Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Callington.
This prohibition is necessary for resurfacing works and it is expected that the closure will be from 7th September 2026 to 19th September 2026. Road subject to prohibition - Church Street, Callington for its entire length. Notice is further given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily impose a stopping prohibition the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any motor vehicle to stop as specified on the undermentioned length of road in Callington. Where any vehicle is found to be in contravention of the Order it may receive a Penalty Charge Notice (PCN) and may be removed from site. Road subject to stopping prohibition - Church Street, Callington for its entire length. The prohibitions will be in force between the hours of 1900 and 0600, weekdays only.

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to prohibit the use by traffic over an area of highway being Hanson Drive, Fowey between No 12 and Pikes Hill. Notice is further given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above order in exercise of its powers under section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily suspend the existing one-way order The County of Cornwall (Fowey) (Restrictions on Driving) (Consolidation) Order 1991 Tower Park, The Esplanade, Esplanade (Class III) between Readymoney Road and Lostwithiel Street. The Council is satisfied that the Order is needed because drainage upgrade works are being executed on or near the road.
The Order will come into operation on 16th September 2026 and the works are expected to be completed by the 17th September 2026. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0730 and 1800 on a daily basis, weekdays only. Nothing in Paragraph 1 of this Order will apply to traffic associated with the works required within the highway specified above, any vehicle being used for the purposes of an undertaker in an emergency, such as loss of utility supplies and anything done with the permission of or at the discretion of a police officer. Pedestrian access to residents and businesses will be maintained.
