RHODDIR DRWY HYN RYBUDD fod Cyngor Gwynedd yn bwriadu dim llai na saith niwrnod ar ôl dyddiad y rhybudd hwn wneud Gorchymyn fydd yn gwahardd unrhyw berson rhag peri i unrhyw gerbyd fynd mewn unrhyw gyfeiriad ar hyd y darn hwnnw o’r Ffordd o Blas Berwyn yn ddwyreiniol i Ffin y Sir, Llandderfel yn ei gyfanrwydd.
Mae angen y Gorchymyn ar gyfer gwaith ailwynebu.
Y ffordd arall yw teithio mewn cyfeiriad de orllewinol ar Heol Trafalgar yna troi i’r chwith yn y gyffordd gyda Heol yr Eglwys (B4402) i barhau mewn cyfeiriad de orllewinol. Yn y gyffordd gyda’r B4401, troi i’r chwith i deithio mewn cyfeiriad gogledd ddwyreiniol hyd at y gyffordd i’r gogledd ddwyrain o Llawr Cilan. Troi i’r chwith i deithio mewn cyfeiriad gogledd orllewinol a throi i’r chwith yn y gyffordd i’r dwyrain o Branas Lodge. Teithio ar y ffordd hon mewn cyfeiriad gorllewinol hyd at y caead ac i’r gwrthwyneb ar gyfer cerbydau sydd yn teithio i’r cyfeiriad arall. Bydd mynediad ar gael i drigolion.
Daw’r Gorchymyn i rym ar y 7fed o Fedi 2026 a bydd yn parhau mewn grym am gyfnod na fydd hwy na chwe mis neu hyd nes y cwblheir y gwaith y bwriedir ei wneud ar y ffordd, pa un bynnag fyddo gyntaf. Ar hyn o bryd disgwylir y gellir cwblhau’r gwaith o fewn tua 12 diwrnod.

SECTION 14(1) AS AMENDED BY THE ROAD TRAFFIC
(TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991
THE GWYNEDD COUNCIL (ROAD FROM PLAS BERWYN EASTERLY TO
THE COUNTY LINE, LLANDDERFEL)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Gwynedd Council intend not less than seven days from the date hereof to make an Order, the effect of which will be to prohibit any person from causing any vehicle to proceed in either direction along that length of Road from Plas Berwyn easterly to the county line, Llandderfel in its entirety.
The Order is necessary for resurfacing works.
The alternative route is to travel south westerly on Trafalgar Street then turn left at the junction with Church Street (B4402) to continue south-westerly. At the junction with the B4401, turn left to travel north easterly up to the junction northeast of Llawr Cilan. Turn left to travel north westerly then turn left at the junction east of Branas Lodge. Travel on this road in a westerly direction up to the closure and vice versa for vehicles travelling in the opposite direction. Access will be maintained for residents.
The Order comes into effect on the 7th of September, 2026 and will continue in force for a period not exceeding one month or until the work which it is proposed to carry out on the road is completed, whichever is the earlier. At this stage it is anticipated that the work will be completed within approximately 12 days.
