WAITING RESTRICTIONS BYNG STREET AND CWM TERRACE (LANDORE WARD) NOTICE 2026

NOTICE: is hereby given that on 10th August 2026 The Council of the City and County of Swansea made the above order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) and of all other enabling powers. The order will be effective from 20 th August 2026, as set out in the schedules below. A copy of the order and plan may be inspected during office hours at Y Storfa, 277-278 Oxford St, Swansea SA1 3EL.

Alternatively the documents can be viewed online at https://www.swansea.gov.uk/permanenttro.

Any person wishing to challenge the validity of the order or procedures used in making this order may apply to the High Court within 6 weeks of the date the order was made.

SCHEDULES

SCHEDULE 1
REVOCATIONS
The existing Orders are revoked insofar as they are inconsistent with the proposals hereinafter contained which relate to the length or lengths of the road or roads referred to in the schedules hereto.

SCHEDULE 2
PROHIBITION OF WAITING AT ANY TIME BYNG STREET
On its western side from a point 25 metres south of its junction with the southern kerb line of Glandwr Crescent for a distance of 5 metres in a southerly direction. For clarity to meet the existing double yellow lines fronting 1 Byng Street.

SCHEDULE 3
PERMIT HOLDERS ONLY CWM TERRACE
On its eastern side from a point 15 metres south of its junction with the southern kerbline of Villiers Street to a point 35 metres south of that point.
