(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF USE) ORDER 2026
Fife Council has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 prohibiting the use by vehicular traffic of U078, New Gilston (entire length to C56).
The Order is to allow carriageway resurfacing works to be carried out in safety and will be operational daily between 08:00 and 17:00 from 28/08/26 to 06/09/26 or until earlier completion of the works. The alternative route for through traffic will be via C56, B940 and C60. Access for emergency service vehicles, residents and pedestrians will be maintained.
