THE A63 TRUNK ROAD (BRIGHTON STREET)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that National Highways Limited intends to make an Order on the A63 Trunk Road, in the City of Hull, to enable paving, road markings and traffic sign works to be carried out in safety.
The works are expected to start on Monday 7 September 2026 for 5 nights, or until completed, and will take place between 8pm and 6am.
The effect of the Order will be, at times during the works, to close the A63:
(i) westbound exit slip road at Brighton Street Interchange.
During which times a suitably signed alternative route will be available.
Traffic signs will indicate the extent of the prohibition (which will not apply to emergency services vehicles, traffic officer vehicles or vehicles being used in connection with the said works or for winter maintenance purposes).
The Order comes into force on 6 September 2026 and has a maximum duration of eighteen months.
