THE WOLVERHAMPTON CITY COUNCIL
(PATRICIA AVENUE / ROSEMARY CRESCENT / PARK HALL ROAD / LIMES ROAD / THE CRESCENT / WOODHOUSE ROAD / WOODHOUSE ROAD NORTH)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Wolverhampton City Council propose to make
an Order under Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as
substituted by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, prohibiting
vehicles from proceeding on the following stretches of road:

· Patricia Avenue closed its entire length in both directions. It is anticipated that the
closure will operate on 20th August 2026, between the hours of 09:30 and 15:00
only. Vehicular Diversion Route: Dudding Road, Wolverhampton Road East,
Goldthorn Hill, Ednam Road and vice versa.

· Rosemary Crescent closed its entire length in both directions. It is anticipated
that the closure will operate on 20th August 2026, between the hours of 09:30
and 15:00 only. Vehicular Diversion Route: Jeremy Road, Himley Crescent,
Ednam Road and vice versa.

· Park Hall Road closed its entire length in both directions. It is anticipated that the
closure will operate on 21st August 2026, between the hours of 09:30 and 15:00
only. Vehicular Diversion Route: Ward Road, Patricia Avenue, Dudding Road
and vice versa.

· Limes Road closed its entire length in both directions. It is anticipated that the
closure will operate on 24th August 2026, between the hours of 09:30 and 15:00
only. Vehicular Diversion Route: Grange Road, Woodcote Road, Wood Road,
High Street, Upper Green and vice versa.

· The Crescent closed its entire length in both directions. It is anticipated that the
closure will operate from 1st September 2026 until 11th September 2026,
weekdays only, between the hours of 09:30 and 14:30 only. Vehicular Diversion
Route: School Road, Yew Tree Lane, Woodthorne Road South, Wrottersley
Road, Wergs Road, Upper Green, Regis Road vice versa.

· Woodhouse Road closed its entire length in both directions. It is anticipated that
the closure will operate from 1st September 2026 until 11th September 2026,
weekdays only, between the hours of 09:30 and 14:30 only. Vehicular Diversion
Route: School Road, Yew Tree Lane, Woodthorne Road South, Wrottersley
Road, Wergs Road, Upper Green, Regis Road vice versa.

· Woodhouse Road North closed its entire length in both directions. It is
anticipated that the closure will operate from 1st September 2026 until
11th September 2026, weekdays only, between the hours of 09:30 and 14:30
only. Vehicular Diversion Route: School Road, Yew Tree Lane, Woodthorne
Road South, Wrottersley Road, Wergs Road, Upper Green, Regis Road vice
versa.

The Order may operate for a maximum period of eighteen months, but it is
anticipated that the works will be undertaken on the dates detailed above, between
the times stipulated.

The Order is required to facilitate carriageway patch repair works and resurfacing by
City of Wolverhampton Council.
