FOOTPATH TEMPORARY CLOSURE EXTENSION
PUBLIC FOOTPATH NO.13 (PART)
NORTH WINGFIELD

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Order made by Derbyshire County Council on 05 March 2025 under Section 14 of The Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended), the effect of which was to close part of footpath No.13 to facilitate public safety during construction works, has been further continued.
WHEN: 15 August 2026 to 12 February 2027.
WHERE: From the access road behind properties on Williamthorpe Road to the junction with Public Footpath No.14.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: From the southern end of the closure travel southwest on Footpath No.14 then northwest on Footpath No.39, then along the pavement of Williamthorpe Road travel northeast to meet Footpath no.13, and vice versa from the other direction. During the closure period access may be maintained whenever reasonably possible on the affected length of footpath. The footpath will be re-opened as soon as the work is finished.
