What is happening?

CITY OF DONCASTER COUNCIL
(VARIOUS ROADS DONCASTER)
SPEED LIMITS (CONSOLIDATION) ORDER 2011
(AMENDMENT NO.159) ORDER 2026

Notice is hereby given that on the 12th day of August 2026 the City of Doncaster Council
made an Order under the provisions of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984.
(i) The effect of the Order that will come into operation on the 18th day of August 2026
will introduce the following items in Schedule 1.01 of the Order 20 MPH Speed Limit:-
Riverside Gardens, Auckley, The Whole
Rushley Close, Auckley, The Whole
Bells Close, Blaxton, The Whole
Stonegate Close, Blaxton, The Whole
Alliss Road, Branton, The Whole
Bassey Road, Branton, The Whole
Farrier Close, Doncaster, The Whole
Holly Field Crescent, Edenthorpe, The Whole
Nursery Gardens, Edenthorpe, The Whole
Wellington Drive, Finningley, The Whole
Marina View, Thorne, The Whole

Stainforth
Barrier Mews, The Whole
Fenton Close, The Whole
High Hazel Grove, The Whole
Kingsway, The Whole
Old Field Close, The Whole
Oldfield Crescent, The Whole
Oldfield Lane, The Whole
Sharleston Drive, The Whole
Stonyford Drive, The Whole
Thorncliff Drive, The Whole
A copy of the Order and a map showing the restricted roads may be examined at the
Council Offices, Civic Office, Waterdale, Doncaster between 8.45 a.m. and 4.45 p.m.
Monday to Friday or on the City of Doncaster Council Website via the following link

If you wish to question the validity of the Order or of any of the provisions contained
therein on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic
Regulation Act, 1984, or on the grounds that any requirement of that Act or of any
instrument made under it has not been complied with in relation to the Order you may
within six weeks from the 12th day of August 2026 apply to the High Court for this
