THE FALKIRK COUNCIL (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026

The Council has made the Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to temporarily prohibit vehicles on:

Linmill Road, Avonbridge from 09:30 until 18:00 on 14/08/26. The prohibition is to allow for Ironworks repairs to be undertaken.
1. This order temporarily closes Linmill Road, Avonbridge from a point adjacent to B8028 in an easterly direction for approximately 50 metres or thereby.
2. The alternative route is: B8028, Bridgend Road, Craigbank Road, Linmill Road or vice versa.

Glen Road, Torwood from 09:00 on 18/08/26 until 18:00 on 22/08/26. The prohibition is to allow for Scottish Water works to be undertaken.
1. This order temporarily closes Glen Road, Torwood from a point adjacent to Hillview in a westerly direction for approximately 250 metres or thereby.
2. The alternative route is: Glen Road, A9, Glen Road or vice versa.

Hawley Road, Falkirk from 07.30 hours on 18/08/2026 until 17.00 hours on 09/10/2026. The prohibition is to allow for footway resurfacing works.
1. This Order temporarily closes: Hawley Road, Falkirk from its junction with Moncks Road to its junction with Wolfe Road and its junction with Oliver Road.
2. The alternative route Hawley Road, Moncks Road, Cromwell Road, Oliver Road and vice versa.

THE FALKIRK COUNCIL (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF WAITING) ORDER 2026

The Council has made the Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to temporarily prohibit waiting in:

Main Street, Camelon from 08:00 on 14/08/26 until 17:00 on 27/08/26. The prohibition is to allow for Utility works to be undertaken.
1. This order prohibits waiting on Main Street, Camelon from a point adjacent to Camelon Roundabout in an easterly direction on both sides for approximately 400 metres or thereby.
