(Temporary Prohibition or Restriction of Traffic) Order 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Halton Borough Council intends to make, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, an Order under Section 14(1) Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Road(s) affected: Footpath 20AS, Rear 19 to 34 Arkwright Road, Runcorn.
Footpath -19AS, Rear 59 to 72 Brindley Road, Runcorn
Footpath -18AS, Rear 101 to 106 Chadwick Road
Reason for making the Order: The Council is satisfied that traffic on the road should be prohibited and/or restricted because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road.
Effect of the Order: during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs no person shall during the works period enter or proceed in or along the road.
Alternative Routes: suitably signed alternative route(s) will be provided.
Date Order to come into effect: 7 September 2026
Maximum duration of the Order: 6 months from the date the Order comes into effect.
Note: The closures are for Cadent Gas to carry out a gas mains replacement scheme including services to properties.
