PART OF MAIN STREET, HOTHAM
Notice is hereby given that East Riding of Yorkshire Council intends not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order, the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along part of Main Street, Hotham between its junctions with Westfield Close and Hotham House Access Road commencing 11 September 2026 between 08.00 hours until 18.00 hours for the purposes of tree felling works. The road closure is necessary to enable the works to be carried out in a manner consistent with ensuring the safety of the public. The Order is valid for 18 months, but it is anticipated that the works will be completed within one day. The alternative route for traffic affected by the road closure will be via Main Street, Rectory Lane, North Cave Road and Dean Lane, Hotham CP, Howdenshire Ward. The diversion route will be signed at the time of closure. The road will be closed to all through traffic but access will be maintained for residents, emergency vehicles and pedestrians.
