NOTICE OF TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC ORDER
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14(1)

Denbighshire County Council intends not sooner than 7 days from 12th August 2026 to make an Order prohibiting vehicles using the lengths of road in the Schedule below.

The closure is necessary to facilitate resurfacing works by Denbighshire County Council. Pedestrian access will be maintained throughout the period of closure.

The alternative route will be via Ffolt junction to Petre Coch Manor Road, B5429, Graig Fechan to Graig Farm Pentre Coch to Graig Farm as signposted on site.

The Order is effective from 1st September 2026 for an eighteen-month period or the earlier completion of the works whichever is soonest. The works are expected to last approximately until 7th September 2026.

Schedule
Lengths of road at Pentre Coch, Ruthin in the County of Denbigh

  1. Pentre Coch to Graig Farm, which extends in a north west direction from its junction with lane from Pentre Coch to Cae Gwyn for a distance of approximately 150 metres
  2. Lane from Pentre Coch to Cae Gwyn, which extends in a south easterly direction from its junction with Pentre Coch to Graig Farm, for a distance of approximately 325 metres.

Mae Cyngor Sir Ddinbych yn bwriadu gwneud Gorchymyn ddim cynt na 7 niwrnod o 12 Awst 2026 a fydd yn gwahardd cerbydau rhag defnyddio’r rhannau o ffyrdd y cyfeirir atynt yn yr Atodlen isod.

Mae angen cau’r ffyrdd er mwyn i Gyngor Sir Ddinbych allu gwneud gwaith i roi wyneb newydd arnynt. Bydd y ffyrdd yn agored i gerddwyr drwy gydol y cyfnod cau.

Bydd arwyddion ar y safle yn dangos y llwybr amgen drwy gyffordd Ffolt i Ffordd Pentre Coch Manor, B5429, Graigfechan i Graig Farm, Pentre Coch i Graig Farm.

Bydd y Gorchymyn mewn grym o 1 Medi 2026 am gyfnod o ddeunaw mis neu hyd nes y bydd y gwaith wedi ei gwblhau, pa un bynnag sydd gynharaf. Disgwylir i’r gwaith barhau tan tua 7 Medi 2026.
