HYSBYSIR trwy hyn fod Cyngor Bwrdeistref Sirol Torfaen, drwy arfer ei bwerau o dan Ddeddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffyrdd 1984 (fel y’i diwygiwyd) yn bwriadu gwneud Gorchymyn, nid llai na saith niwrnod ar ôl dyddiad yr Hysbysiad hwn, a fydd yn gwahardd unrhyw draffig rhag teithio ar hyd rhan o Middle Coed Cae Road, Blaenafon.

Mae’r ffordd amgen ar hyd Upper Coed Cae Road, Giles Road, Llanover Road, Middle Coed Cae Road ac i’r gwrthwyneb. (Cedwir mynediad i drigolion a’r gwasanaethau brys cyn belled ag y bo modd yn rhesymol).

Mae’r gwaharddiad yn angenrheidiol am fod gwaith yn cael ei wneud, neu ar fin cael ei wneud, ar yr heol, neu ger yr heol i hwyluso’r gwaith o osod croesfan uwch i gerddwyr.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14 (1)(A) (AS AMENDED)

MIDDLE COED CAE ROAD, BLAENAVON

TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC ORDER 2026

NOTICE is hereby given that the County Borough Council of Torfaen in exercise of their powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) intend not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any traffic from proceeding along a section of Middle Coed Cae Road, Blaenavon.

The alternative route is along Upper Coed Cae Road, Giles Road, Llanover Road, Middle Coed Cae Road and viceversa. (Access for residents and emergency services will be maintained as far as is reasonably practicable).

The prohibition is necessary because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road to facilitate installation of a raised pedestrian crossing.

The proposed Order will operate from Thursday 20th August 2026 to Thursday 10th September 2026 for 21 days and any other days deemed necessary within a period not exceeding 18 months.
