Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above order dated 10th August 2026 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned lengths of road in High Street. This prohibition is necessary for drainage works and it is expected that the closure will be from 24th August 2026 to 16th October 2026.
Roads subject to prohibition - Brookfield Close, Road From School Hill To Coombe Road for their entire lengths, School Hill, High Street from outside Tremarney School to junction with Road From School Hill To Coombe Road. Notice is further given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 10th August 2026 in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily impose a stopping prohibition the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any motor vehicle to stop as specified on the undermentioned lengths of road in High Street. Where any vehicle is found to be in contravention of this Order it may receive a Penalty Charge Notice (PCN) and may be removed from site. Roads subject to stopping prohibition - Brookfield Close, Road From School Hill To Coombe Road for their entire lengths, School Hill, High Street from outside Tremarney School to junction with Road From School Hill To Coombe Road. The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekends included.

This prohibition is necessary for resurfacing works and it is expected that the closure will be from 7th September 2026 to 19th September 2026. Roads subject to prohibition - Pendoggett Road, Port Isaac from junction with B3267 Between Trewetha Lane And Pendoggett Road to junction with St Teath Road, Pendoggett Road, St Kew for its entire length.

Cornwall Council Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (RTRA 1984) Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2026
Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council is under the above Order dated 2nd February 2026 continuing to prohibit the use by traffic over an area of highway being Road From Chapel Hill To Prentice House, St Austell between Access To Lefesant Farm and Rose Cottages. The Council is satisfied that the Order is needed due to fallen trees and collapsed retaining bank. The Order which commenced on the 3rd February 2026 and is currently in force for up to eighteen months will now continue until the 30th October 2026. The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekends included.
The Council is satisfied that this further restriction is necessary owing to engineering difficulties and the Order is needed due to fallen trees and collapsed retaining bank. Nothing in this Order will apply to traffic associated with the works required within the highway specified above, any vehicle being used for the purposes of an undertaker in an emergency, such as loss of utility supplies and anything done with the permission of or at the discretion of a police officer.
