MAE GWEINIDOGION CYMRU yn bwriadu gwneud Gorchymyn o dan adran 14 o Ddeddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffyrdd 1984 ymhen dim llai na 7 niwrnod i ddyddiad yr Hysbysiad hwn.

Mae angen y Gorchymyn arfaethedig er mwyn gwneud gwaith ar gefnffordd yr A4076, neu gerllaw iddi, rhwng Johnston a Steynton, Sir Benfro.

Effaith y Gorchymyn arfaethedig fydd gwahardd dros dro bob cerbyd, beiciwr a cherddwr rhag mynd ar y darn o gefnffordd yr A4076 sy’n ymestyn o’i chyffordd ag ochr ddeheuol Cylchfan Sunnycroft, Johnston hyd at dy tafarn yr Horse & Jockey yn Steynton.

Y llwybr arall ar gyfer traffig sy’n teithio tua’r de fydd mynd ar yr A477 tua’r de (arwydd Doc Penfro) i Gylchfan Sentry Cross a’r A477 tua’r gorllewin i ailymuno â’r A4076 wrth oleuadau traffig Steynton: i’r gwrthwyneb ar gyfer cerbydau sy’n teithio tua’r gogledd.

Daw’r Gorchymyn i rym ar 2 Medi 2026. Disgwylir y bydd y gwaharddiadau dros dro yn weithredol dros nos (20:00 – 06:00 o’r gloch) o 2 i 29 Medi 2026 neu hyd nes y caiff yr arwyddion traffig dros dro eu symud ymaith yn barhaol.

Dim ond yn ystod y dyddiadau a bennir uchod y disgwylir i’r Gorchymyn fod yn weithredol. Er hynny, bydd yn parhau’n ddilys am gyfnod o 12 mis ar y mwyaf rhag ofn y bydd angen ailamsserlennu’r gwaith neu wneud gwaith canlyniadol neu waith arall.

THE A4076 TRUNK ROAD (JOHNSTON TO STEYNTON, PEMBROKESHIRE) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICLES, CYCLISTS & PEDESTRIANS) ORDER 202-

THE WELSH MINISTERS propose, in not less than 7 days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order under section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, which is necessary to undertake works on or near the A4076 trunk road between Johnston and Steynton, Pembrokeshire.

The effect of the proposed Order will be to temporarily prohibit all vehicles, cyclists and pedestrians from proceeding on the length of the A4076 trunk road that extends from its junction with the southern side of Sunnycroft Roundabout, Johnston to the Horse & Jockey public house at Steynton.

The alternative route for southbound traffic will be via the southbound A477 (signposted Pembroke Dock) to Sentry Cross Roundabout and westbound A477 to rejoin the A4076 at Steynton traffic lights: vice versa for northbound vehicles.

The Order will come into force on 2 September 2026. The temporary prohibitions are expected to operate overnight (20:00 – 06:00 hours) from 2 – 29 September 2026, or until the temporary traffic signs are permanently removed.

Although the Order is only expected to operate during the dates specified above, it will remain valid for a maximum period of 12 months, as a contingency, should the work need to be rescheduled or consequential or other work is required.
