NOTICE OF TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC
– ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984
– Various Locations Within Handforth

Notice is hereby given that the Cheshire East Borough Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road

Traffic Regulation Act 1984, and of all other enabling powers has made an order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit traffic.

Prohibition of traffic – Kingston Road, Handforth – For the full extent
Ashford Close, Handforth – For the full extent
Windemere Road, Handforth – For the full extent
Sagars Road, Handforth – For the full extent
For specific diversions please visit one.network

This order will come into operation on Wednesday 19th August 2026 and will continue in force for 18 months or for such less time as is necessary to complete the work to be executed in the highway, although it is anticipated that the works will be completed by Tuesday 1st September 2026.

NOTICE OF TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC –
ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 – Wybunbury Lane, Stapeley

Notice is hereby given that the Cheshire East Borough Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, and of all other enabling powers proposes to make an order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit traffic.

Prohibition of traffic – Wybunbury Lane, Stapeley – From the junction with London Road to the junction with Haymoor Green Road

The alternative route will be via Wybunbury Lane, Main Road, Bridge Street, Wybunbury Road, London Road and vice versa which is considered the most suitable route.

This order will come into operation on Monday 7th September 2026 and will continue in force for 18 months or for such less time as is necessary to complete the work to be executed in the highway, although it is anticipated that the works will be completed by Friday 18th September 2026.
