The said roads are expected to be closed from 17th August 2026 where the presence of approved signage will indicate whether they are in force. Further advance warnings of dates/times will be displayed on site prior to the said closures taking effect. This Order may permit the said closures in any order, or simultaneously as required. It is anticipated that all works will be completed by 4th December 2026, but the Order may continue until the said works have been completed, for a maximum duration of 18 months. The reason for the said closures is for gas mains replacement works.

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the 401289 Lynch Road, France Lynch from outside the property known as “Side York Cottage” to outside the property known as “Willow Cottage” for a distance of approximately 180 metres. The reason for the closure is for works to install telecommunication poles.
The said road is expected to be closed from 09:00hrs on 14th August 2026 until 16:00hrs on 17th August 2026. However, if the said works are not completed by this date the Order may remain in force for up to eighteen months or until the said works have been completed, whichever is sooner.

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the 401286 Stummyes Road, France Lynch from outside the property known as “Willow Cottage” to outside the property known as “Field Cottage” for a distance of approximately 115 metres.
The reason for the closure is for works to install a telecommunication pole.
The said road is expected to be closed from 09:00hrs on 14th August 2026 until 16:00hrs on 17th August 2026. However, if the said works are not completed by this date the Order may remain in force for up to eighteen months or until the said works have been completed, whichever is sooner.

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, intends to make an order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the 401296 Moons Lane to Bisley Road from its junction with New Road Bisley to Bakers Mill to outside of the property known as “Lillyhorn Cottage” for a distance of approximately 90 metres.
The reason for the closure is for works on behalf of Severn Trent Water.
The road is expected to be closed from 31st August 2026 to 11th September 2026. However, if the said works are not completed by this date the Order may remain in force for up to eighteen months or until the said works have been completed, whichever is sooner.

The reason for the said closure is gas main replacement works.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PUBLIC FOOTPATHS EGO 15 AND EGO 17
(GREAT OLDBURY PARISH) STROUD DISTRICT
NOTICE is hereby given that Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, intends to make an Order to close temporarily under Sections 14, 15 and 16 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 (as amended) the Public Footpaths EGO 15 and EGO 17 as described in the Schedule below;
Schedule
Public Footpath EGO 17 is to be closed from its junction with Public Bridleway EGO 18 in a generally north easterly direction for approximately 260 metres to its junction with Public Footpath EGO 16.
Public Footpath EGO 15 is to be closed from its junction EGO 17 in a generally north westerly direction for approximately 140 metres at its junction with Public Footpath EGO 14.
The footpaths fall within the Parish of Great Oldbury within Stroud District, Gloucestershire.
The closures are necessary to protect the safety of the public during construction works.
The Order will come into force on the 2nd September 2026, and it is anticipated that the Public Footpaths will close on that day until 3rd March 2027. After this date if the closure is still required it will be necessary to apply to the Secretary of State for an extension of time.
