Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council intends to make the above Order in exercise of its powers under Section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to temporarily prohibit the use by traffic of the undermentioned length of road in Wadebridge.

This prohibition is necessary for supply alteration works and it is expected that the closure will be from 7th September 2026 to 17th September 2026. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0730 and 1800, weekdays only.

Road affected - Road From Trevilling Farm To Newlands, Wadebridge from Great Bodieve Farm to junction with Access To Great Bodieve.

This prohibition is necessary for poling works and it is expected that the closure will be from 7th September 2026 to 8th September 2026. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0800 and 1800, weekdays only.

This prohibition is necessary for poling works and it is expected that the closure will be from 25th August 2026 to 26th August 2026. The prohibition will be in force between the hours of 0800 and 1800, weekdays only.

Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (RTRA 1984)
Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2024

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council is under the above Order dated 6th March 2024 continuing to prohibit the use by traffic over an area of highway being Terras Hill, Lostwithiel between Tregarthen and Terras House. The Order which commenced on the 7th March 2024 and is currently in force for up to eighteen months will now continue until the 4th December 2026. 

The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekends included. The Council is satisfied that this further restriction is necessary owing to engineering difficulties and the Order is needed due to collapsed retaining wall.

Nothing in this Order will apply to traffic associated with the works required within the highway specified above, any vehicle being used for the purposes of an undertaker in an emergency, such as loss of utility supplies and anything done with the permission of or at the discretion of a police officer.

Pedestrian access to residents and businesses will be maintained.
