Liverpool Road - Segregated Route For Pedestrians And Cyclists
What is happening?
The Council of the City of Salford intends to make in no less than 7 days under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984: SALFORD CITY COUNCIL (LIVERPOOL ROAD SEGREGATED ROUTE FOR PEDESTRIANS AND CYCLISTS) TEMPORARY ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2026.
The Order will introduce a closure of the segregated route for pedestrians and cyclists on Liverpool Road, opposite properties 378 - 384, Cadishead, Irlam, M44 6AL. The Order is necessary for installation works within a new water chamber on behalf of United Utilities. The order is due to come into operation on Monday 7th September 2026 and will last for a period of 18 months or until the works are completed if earlier. The works are expected to be completed by Friday 25th September 2026.
