What is happening?
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE – VARIOUS ROADS, COPYTHORNE, NEW FOREST, TOTTON RUNNING CLUB 10K
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council intends to make an order under Section 16(A) of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984 to allow the Totton Running Club 10K to take place out on or near the road.
ROADS TO BE CLOSED:
1. Romsey Road between its junction with Whitemoor Lane and its junction with Pollards Moore Road.
2. Barrow Hill Road between its junction with Romsey Road and its junction with Winsor Road.
3. Winsor Road between its junction with Pollards Moore Road and its junction with Barrow Hill Road.
4. Pound Lane between its junction with Winsor Road and its junction with Romsey Road.
5. Pollards Moor Road between its junction with Winsor Road and its junction with Romsey Road.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: M27, A336, Whitemoor Lane.
DURATION OF ORDER: from Sunday 30th August 2026 between the hours 08:15 – 10:45 for 1 day or until the event has ended, whichever is sooner.
Reasonable facilities will be provided to allow access to adjacent premises while the event is being carried out.
The Temporary Road Closures have been granted by Hampshire County Council to facilitate the event of the Totton Running Club 10K.
