The Cornwall Council (Footpath No. 9, St Austell Bay (Part)) (Trevissick Farm) Public Path Diversion Order 2013
On the 30 June 2026 Cornwall Council confirmed the above Order made under section 119 of the Highways Act 1980.
The effect of the Order as confirmed is to divert a part of Public Footpath 9 St Austell Bay commencing from a point where it has a junction with that part of Footpath number 9 to be retained south-west of'Trevissick Farm' at Ordnance Survey Grid Reference (OSGR) SX 0270/4859 then running in a south-south-easterly and south-easterly direction for 267 metres to a point at where it has a junction with Public Bridleway number 6 St Austell Bay at OSGR SX 0278/4836 to a line commencing from a point where it has a junction with that part of Footpath number 9 to be retained south-west of'Trevissick Farm' at OSGR SX 0270/4859 running in a westerly, southerly and south-westerly direction for a 410 metres to a point where it has a junction with Road C0473 south-west of'Trevissick Farm' at OSGR SX 0245/4834.
A copy of the order and order map may be downloaded from Cornwall Council's website at https://www.cornwall.gov.uk/environment/countryside/public-path-orders/confirmed-public-path-orders/ and have also been placed and may be seen free of charge at St Austell Library, 2 Carlyon Road, St Austell, PL25 4LD between the hours of 9am to 5pm on Monday to Friday & 10am to 1pm on Saturday. Alternatively copies of the order and order map may be obtained free of charge from proworders@cornwall.gov.uk.
The Order comes into force on the date on which Cornwall Council certify that the terms of Article 1 of the Order have been complied with, but if any person aggrieved by the Order wants to question its validity, or that any of the provisions contained in it, on the ground that that it is not within the powers of the Highways Act 1980, as amended, or on the ground that any requirement of the Act has not been complied with in relation to the Order, he or she may under paragraph 2 of Schedule 2 to the Act as applied by paragraph 5 of Schedule 6 to the Act, within six weeks from the date of this notice, make application to the High Court.
