THE CITY OF WESTMINSTER (D ZONE) (AMENDMENT NO. *) ORDER 202*
1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Westminster City Council proposes to make the above Orders under sections 6, 45, 46, 49, 63 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.
2. The general effect of the Orders would be to: (a) introduce a residents' parking place (5.5 metres) outside No. 38 Chesham Place (the former Embassy of Finland), replacing a redundant diplomatic parking bay; (b) on the north side of Horseferry Road: (i) introduce two diplomatic parking bays (12 metres) outside Belgravia House, Nos. 62 to 64 (the new Embassy of Finland), replacing part of a redundant bus stop clearway; and (ii) introduce three pay-by-phone bays (15.8 metres) outside Dean Bradley House, Nos. 44 to 60, replacing part of a redundant bus stop clearway; and (c) on the north-east side of Lowndes Place, adjacent to No. 38 (the former Embassy of Finland), extend the existing shared-use parking place north-westward by 5 metres, replacing a redundant diplomatic parking bay.
3. The proposed Orders and other documents giving more detailed particulars of the Orders are available for inspection until six weeks have elapsed from the date on which either the Orders are made or the Council decides not to make the Orders at https:// westminstertransportationservices.co.uk/notices and, in person by appointment only, at Westminster City Hall, 64 Victoria Street, London, SW1E 6QP, between 9.00a.m. and 5.00p.m. on Mondays to Fridays (except bank / public holidays). Any objections or other representations about the proposals should be sent in writing to the Council's agents, WSP Traffic Order Team, 3 rd Floor, Westferry House, 11 Westferry Circus, Canary Wharf, London, E14 4HD, or by email to tmo.westminster@wsp.com quoting reference 8250/CM, by 2nd September 2026. All objections must specify the grounds on which they are made.
