Gosport Road, Chawton - Temporary No Waiting Restriction due to Sewer Repair Works
What is happening?
TEMPORARY NO WAITING AT ANY TIME– GOSPORT ROAD, CHAWTON, EAST HAMPSHIRE
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council intends to make an order under S.14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to allow works to be carried out on or near the road.
TEMPORARY NO WAITING AT ANY TIME: that part of Gosport Road between the points No.2 Gosport Road and No.3 Gosport Road.
DURATION OF ORDER: from Wednesday 26th August 2026 for a period of 6 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner. (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than 14 days and this order will be in operation 24 hours a day).
The Temporary No Waiting At Any Time has been granted by Hampshire County Council to facilitate works for Cappagh Contractors to complete sewer repair works. If there are any queries or enquires regarding this Order please contact: tthomas@cappagh.co.uk.
