Notice is hereby given that on the 6 August 2026 North Somerset Council made the following order in exercise of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended. The general effect of the order shall be to amend the North Somerset Council (Moving Traffic Prohibitions and Restrictions, North Somerset) Consolidation Order 2024 to change the usage of the northwestern section of The Triangle, Clevedon, North Somerset to One Way that allows vehicles to proceed in a northeast bound direction only. Furthermore, the southwestern section of The Triangle will become a Bus Gate allowing only local buses to proceed through this area. The extent of the changes are described in the Schedule to this notice. The order will come into operation on 2 November 2026 and copies of the order may be inspected at https://streets.appyway.com/north-somerset
Any person who desires to question the validity of, or of any provision contained in the order on the grounds that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, or on the grounds that any of the relevant requirements of that Act has not been complied with in relation to the order, may within six weeks after the date on which the order was made, apply to the High Court for this purpose.
Schedule - Part 3: Moving Restrictions - One Way: The Triangle, Clevedon creation of a section of One Way on the northwestern section of The Triangle beginning at its junction with Old Church Road and ending at its junction with the north to south section of The Triangle that is the B3133. Bus-only Route: The Triangle, Clevedon creation of a Bus Gate on the southwestern section of The Triangle from its junction with the north to south section of The Triangle, that is the B3133, to its junction with the new One Way section the Triangle on the northwestern section of this road as described above. This bus gate is for local buses only.

Notice is hereby given that on the 6 August 2026 North Somerset Council made the following order in exercise of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended. The general effect of which will be to amend the North Somerset Council (Prohibition of Stopping, Waiting, Loading and Parking Places) (Consolidation) Order 2022 to include amendments to parking restrictions (laybys and yellow lines) and loading and unloading restrictions on Old Street, Clevedon, North Somerset. The extent of the proposals are described in the Schedule to this notice. Schedule - Part 3: Prohibition and Restriction of Waiting, Stopping, Loading and Unloading - Disabled Person's Parking Places: Old Street, Clevedon - creation of a disabled person's parking space in the layby to the west side of the pedestrian crossing, near Lime Kiln Lane, on the north side of the road. Amendments to Limited Waiting Parking Places: Old Street, Clevedon - the limited waiting parking spaces in the layby to the west side of the pedestrian crossing, near Lime Kiln Lane, on the north side of the road to be realigned. Loading or Unloading Only: Old Street, Clevedon - creation of a new Loading or Unloading Bay in the layby located on the west side of the pedestrian crossing, near Lime Kiln Lane, on the north side of the road. No Loading or Unloading during the Restricted Hours Stipulated: Old Street, Clevedon - a No Loading or Unloading during the Restricted Hours Stipulated restriction to be added to the south side of the road starting from the west side of the pedestrian crossing near Lime Kiln Lane to a point 40m west, the restricted hours will be No Loading between 8am and 6pm. Revocation of No Waiting at Any Time: Old Street, Clevedon - removal of double yellow lines from the layby located on the west side of the pedestrian crossing near Lime Kiln Lane on the north side of the road.

Notice is hereby given that North Somerset Council in pursuance of the provisions of section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, intend to make an order the effect of which:
Main Road, Flax Bourton, North Somerset
Temporary Prohibition of Use by Vehicles Order 2026
Date coming Into Force: 30 November 2026

Will be to close, temporarily, to vehicles the lengths of roads specified in the Schedule to this Notice. Exemptions are included for emergency services, works access, works vehicles and as works permit for premises which may only be accessed via the closed section of road.
This order is required because of the likelihood of danger to the public consequent upon work by Wessex Water Services to replace a sunken cover and frame. This order will become operative on the 30 November 2026 for a maximum period of eighteen months. However, the closures may not be implemented for the whole of the period but only as necessitated by the works which is anticipated to be of 10 hours in duration between 8pm and 6am. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed when the measures are in force.

This order is required because of the likelihood of danger to the public consequent upon work by Openreach for ducting in the carriageway. This order will become operative on the 23 September 2026 for a maximum period of eighteen months. However, the closures may not be implemented for the whole of the period but only as necessitated by the works, which are anticipated to be of 2 days in duration between 9.30am and 3.30pm. Appropriate traffic signs will be displayed when the measures are in force.
