Ingatestone & Fryerning) (Temporary Prohibition of Use) Order 2026
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close Footpath (Little Hyde Lane) Ingatestone & Fryerning in the Borough of Brentwood, from the top of the ramp at the north side of the underpass from the A12 Northwest for approximately 30 metres
The closure is scheduled to commence on 17 August 2026 to 31 August 2026 or where appropriate signs are showing and weather permitting.
The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while the installation of a temporary crossover and new water connection takes place.
Alternative route: will be provided on the carriageway.
The Order will come into effect on 17 August 2026 and may continue in force for 6 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Bird Lane, Little Warley)
(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2026
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Bird Lane, Little Warley in the Borough of Brentwood, from its junction with Magpie Lane to its other junction with Magpie Lane a distance of approximately 110m.
The closure is scheduled to commence on 7th September 2026 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (NK103DIS172268-1 – Virgin Media).
The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while chamber construction works are undertaken by Virgin Media.
An alternative route is available via Magpie Lane and vice versa. The Order will come into effect on 19th August 2026 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Pine Drive, Ingatestone)
(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2026
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Pine Drive, Ingatestone in the Borough of Brentwood, from a point approximately 30m north west of its junction with Pine Close for a distance of approximately 65m in a north westerly direction.
The closure is scheduled to commence on 8th September 2026 for 7 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EN013348988 – Essex And Suffolk Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network.
The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new connection works are undertaken by Essex and Suffolk Water.
An alternative route is available via Pine Drive, Pine Close, Park Drive, High Street, Pine Drive and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 19th August 2026 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Old Church Lane/Mountnessing Road, Mountnessing)
(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2026
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
1. To temporarily close that length of Old Church Lane, Mountnessing in the Borough of Brentwood, from its junction with Mountnessing Road for a distance of approximately 255m in a north westerly direction.
2. To temporarily close that length of Mountnessing Road, Mountnessing in the Borough of Brentwood, from its junction with Old Church Lane for a distance of approximately 85m in a south westerly direction.
The closures are scheduled to commence on 25th August 2026 for 15 days, or where stated on a valid permit (BC311003WGRHDV5V/ BC311004WGRHDV5V – Openreach). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closures are required for the safety of the public and workforce while duct laying works are undertaken by Openreach.
An alternative route is available via Old Church Lane, Old Church Road, Church Road,Stock Lane, Ingatestone Road, Buttsbury, Mountnessing Road and vice versa or Mountnesing Road, Radford Way, B1007, Ingatestone Road, Buttsbury, Mountnessing Road and vice versa.
The Order came into effect on 5th August 2026 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
