TEMPORARY TRAFFIC ORDER – WALPOLE ROAD, BRIGHTON
NOTICE is hereby given that Brighton & Hove City Council have on the 12 of August 2026 made an Order pursuant to powers in Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended which has the following effect:-
a) The temporary closure of Walpole Road, Brighton at its junction with Eastern Road.
- The Order is necessary to allow contractors to install a new electricity connection.
Pedestrian access will be maintained, and a signed diversion route will be in place for vehicular traffic.
- This Order comes into force on the 12th of August 2026 for eighteen months or until such sooner time as the works are completed, which is anticipated to be the 28 of August 2026.
