DEFINITIVE MAP AND STATEMENT
THE NOTTINGHAMSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL (MANSFIELD FOOTPATH NO. 56 & MANSFIELD FOOTPATH NO. 5) MODIFICATION ORDER 2026
On the 5th day of August 2026 the Nottinghamshire County Council confirmed the above Order made under Section 53 of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981.
The effect of the Order as confirmed is to add thereto the footpath in the District of Mansfield commencing from point SK 7048 8246, on Woburn Road and proceeding in generally north-north westerly direction for approximately 634 metres to a point, SK 6960 8311, at the junction with Mansfield Footpath No. 5 as described in the Order and as shown on the Order Plan.
A copy of the Order as confirmed and the Order Map may be seen free of charge at my Office at the address below between the hours of 9.00 am and 4.30 pm Mondays to Fridays inclusive, and at the Mansfield District Council Offices, Civic Centre, Chesterfield Road South, Mansfield, NG19 7BH and also at Mansfield Central Library, Four Seasons Centre, West Gate, Mansfield NG18 1NH during the respective normal opening hours until 23rd day of September 2026. The order may also be viewed on the Nottinghamshire County Council website.

The Order came into force on the 29th day of May 2026 but if a person aggrieved by the Order wants to question its validity, or any provisions contained in it, on the grounds that it is not within the powers of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981 or on the grounds of any requirement of the Act or of any regulations made under the Act has not been complied with in relation to the Order, he or she may, under Paragraph 12 of Schedule 15 to the Act, within 6 weeks from the 12th day of August 2026 make an application to the High Court.
