NEWTOWNHAMILTON
Notice is hereby given that the Department for Infrastructure
in its capacity as Road Authority and acting in pursuance of
its powers under Article 7 of the Road Traffic Regulation
(Northern Ireland) Order 1997 has temporarily prohibited the
use of the above named road to through traffic, from the
junction of 13 Cladymilltown Road to the junction of 17
Cladymilltown Road to Millvale Road from 08:00 on Monday
03 August 2026 until 18:00 on Friday 09 October 2026.
Local access and access for emergency vehicles will be
maintained at all times.
This closure is to facilitate work by DFI Southern.
An alternative route will be signed with traffic being
diverted via:
B0078 Markethill Road, B0078 The Common, A0029
Armagh Street, A0029
Armagh Road, B0031 Armagh Road, B0031
Newtownhamilton Road, B0003
Coolmillish Road, U8021 Fairgreen Road, B0078 Mowhan
