What is happening?

(PROHIBITION AND RESTRICTION OF WAITING AND PARKING PLACES) (CONSOLIDATION) ORDER 2009 (OVERTON ROAD, LUDLOW) (AMENDMENT) ORDER 2026
On 6 August 2026 Shropshire Council made an order to introduce the following parking restrictions in Ludlow:
No Waiting or Loading At Any Time
B4361 Overton Road (both sides)
From the southern property boundary of Virginia Cottage, Overton Road Ludlow SY8 4AD to a point 98 metres north of the centre of the access to Ludlow Touring Park, Overton Road, Ludlow SY8 4AD
These changes will come into effect on 14 August 2026.
A copy of the order may be examined during normal office hours (8:45am-5:00pm Monday to Thursday, and 8:45am-4:00pm on Fridays) at Shropshire Council, The Guildhall, Frankwell, Shrewsbury.
If you wish to question the validity of the Order, or any provisions in it, on the grounds that they are not within the powers conferred by The Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or on the grounds that any requirement of that Act or of any instrument made under it has not been complied with in relation to the Order, you may, within six weeks from 6 August 2026, apply for that purpose to the High Court.
