(FOOTPATH 314 LLANTRISANT)
(TEMPORARY FOOTPATH CLOSURE) ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Rhondda Cynon Taff County Borough Council, intends, not less than 7 days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, which will have a maximum duration of eighteen months.
The closure is necessary to facilitate the safe construction of the highway and footpath with a residential development.

The effect of the Order will be to that part of the
footpath commencing from Maes-Y-Wennol, Miskin, Pontyclun CF72 8SB (Easting 304715, Northing 181882) proceeding initially in an easterly direction and then in a northerly direction, that terminates at Easting 304762, Northing 182110
Alternative Route – pedestrians are advised to use the temporary alternative path
Access for emergency services WILL NOT be maintained.
The closure is expected to be in operation between the following dates and times, or until such time as the works has been completed: -
• Full closure 26th August 2026 for 6 months
