TEMPORARY TRAFFIC RESTRICTIONS –
HINTON ROAD
1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that, to enable new electricity supply works, the Council of the London Borough of Lambeth has made an Order, the effect of which will be to temporarily:
(a) prohibit vehicles from turning left from Coldharbour Lane into Hinton Road;
(b) introduce a south-east to north-west one-way traffic system in Hinton Road, between its junction with Coldharbour Lane and 67 metres south-east of that junction.
2. The alternative route for affected vehicles will be available via Coldharbour Lane, Herne Hill Road, Wanless Road, and Hinton Road.
3. The Order will come into force on 17 August 2026 and continue in force for a maximum duration of 1 month, to allow for contingencies, or until the works have been completed whichever is the sooner. In practice, it is anticipated that the works will take 12 days to complete.
