SUFFOLK COUNTY COUNCIL ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984: SECTION 14
TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE C661 WEATHEROCK HILL, CHEVINGTON
Suffolk County Council has made an order closing the C661 Weathercock Hill, Chevington from 850 metres west of the junction with Poulters Lane for 40 metres westbound to facilitate the replacement of overhead cables. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.
Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.
The diversion route will be the A143, The Green, The Street, Chevington Road, Chedburgh Road and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will operate on 12/08/2026 from 10am - 4pm but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF THE U4954 HIGH STREET, RATTLESDEN
Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the U4954 High Street, Rattlesden from the junction with Felsham Road to the junction with School Road to facilitate repairs to a bridge parapet. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.
Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.
The diversion route will be High Street, Lower Street and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will operate from 21/08/2026 - 28/08/2026 from 8am - 5pm.
If necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PART OF FOOTPATH 1, KETTLEBASTON
Suffolk County Council has made an order closing Footpath 1, Kettlebaston from 720 metres southeast of The Street for 12 metres south eastbound for safety reasons due to an unsafe bridge. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.
There is no diversion.
This order continues in force the emergency measures operating since 22/07/2026.
It is intended that the closure will operate until 21/01/2027, (or longer if extended by the Minister).

Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the B1123 Withersdale Street, Mendham from the junction with Fressingfield Road for 130 metres eastbound to facilitate communication pole testing. Other co-ordinated works may also take place during this period.
Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.
The diversion route will be the B1123, the B1117, the B1116 and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will operate on 21/08/2026 from 9.30am - 3.30pm but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

The diversion route will be Branderton Road, the A1120, the B1077, the B1079, Chapel Road, The Green, Otley Road, The Street and vice versa.
It is intended that the closure will operate on 21/08/2026 from 9.30am - 3.30pm but, if necessary, the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).

- 12/10/2026 - 25/10/2026.
