TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE (NEVILLE TERRACE) 2026
The Council of the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea give notice that they intend to make a Temporary Traffic Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 Schedule 1 Section 14 (1)(a) and all other enabling powers prohibiting motorised vehicles from proceeding or waiting in roads cited below.
Neville Terrace to be closed to southbound traffic from the junction of the Onslow Gardens to the junction of Fulham Road.
• No left turn from Onslow Gardens into Neville Terrace.
• No right turn from Selwood Place into Neville Terrace.
The road is to be closed to vehicles for utility works.
The restrictions will come into force from 08.00hrs on Thursday 27th August 2026 until 18.00hrs on Sunday 13th September 2026, with backup dates of Thursday 3rd September 2026 until Sunday 20th September 2026, or until completion of the works, whichever is sooner.
Diverted through traffic may use Onslow Gardens, Old Brompton Road, Onslow Square, Sydney Place, Fulham Road, and Selwood Terrace.
Access will be maintained for residents and occupiers. Nothing in this Order shall apply to:
• anything done with the permission of, or at the direction of, a police constable in uniform.
• anything done in connection with the execution of said works.
